The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 began life as a compact luxury sedan before Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division transformed it into one of the quickest four-door production cars of its era. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, rocketing the Project 8 from 0–60 mph in just 3.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 200 mph.
Those figures placed it firmly in supercar territory.
What made the Project 8 so remarkable, however, wasn't simply its straight-line speed. In 2017, it set the production sedan lap record at Germany's Nürburgring Nordschleife, proving it wasn't just quick, it was engineered to perform under the toughest conditions in the world.
Designed With Purpose
Nothing about the Project 8's appearance was accidental.
The aggressive front splitter, enlarged air intakes, carbon fiber components, widened fenders, and towering rear wing were all developed to improve cooling, stability, and aerodynamic efficiency at high speed. Even standing still, the car looks ready for the circuit.
Finished in Velocity Orange, those details become even more dramatic.
